Saturday 18th: “Energise”

Word of the Day: “Energise”

This morning our PHC students challenged themselves to learn juggling.

With this being a new skill for all, they showed impressive perseverance and progress. They will continue to practice over the course so ask them to put on a show when they return home.

After lunch, the baking group began brainstorming for tomorrow’s group activity where all of our students will bake various treats for our mid-course celebration. A visit to some of Stamford’s local bakeries provided inspiration for their own ideas.

We concluded our British Sports weekly activity with arguably the most British of sport of them all – cricket. We were later joined by the rest of the students to play some games of benchball and dodgeball to earn points for their houses.

Feeling energised and excited for the evening disco, everyone got ready to show off their best dance moves.

Some fantastic accessories were discovered in our fancy dress box. Our students certainly made full use of them!

We danced the night away with many classics on the playlist: ‘The Macarena’ and ‘Gangnam Style’ were amongst our favourites.

The limbo pole came out later in the evening, and energetic students gave it their best attempt whilst being cheered on by others.
